T'as bien raison pour le capharnaum ! ! ! Mais je trouve qu'il y a de bien belles pièces ! J'aime bien les couleurs de ces sculptures ainsi que leurs expressions !

So, did you take any of these home with you ??? When I was in Syria two years ago we were approached a few times by people trying to sell us pieces like these, telling us that they had just dug them up that very afternoon from long forgotten roman or greek graves. A thriving business in "antiquities"...

ReplyDelete@ Owen: actually no...they'll had a separate corner where some unique (of course) pieces were for sale.... but I always find it difficult to imagine one of those pieces in miy own place. A mistake maybe. I was tempted once to buy a piece of stone, replika of those beautiful wall from the temples with beautiful designs and colours....but just didn't buy it.
